Kaiti –II Water Project, Makueni County.

The Kaiti – II water project, Wote town in Makueni county (Subcontract No. 1005293-S24-S-001-00) was contracted to Jakimo Infrastructure East Africa Limited on 2nd September 2024.

The site was handed over on 25th September 2024 and the works commenced on 30th September 2024. Majority of approvals and tests were carried during the first two weeks after commencement and project completion is on schedule.

KPLC Machakos go-downMachakos County.

The proposed construction of a mini go-down in Machakos is a significant project that underscores KPLC’s commitment to enhancing its operational infrastructure. Contracted on April 23, 2024, the project officially commenced with site possession and is slated for completion within 24 weeks.

This storage facility will streamline resource management and bolster efficiency in service delivery. With a keen focus on quality and timely execution, the construction promises to meet the highest engineering standards while adhering to project timelines. The Machakos mini go-down will be a pivotal asset, supporting KPLC’s mission to power Kenya reliably and sustainably

Yuumbu Water Project ,Kitui County.

On 6th September 2024, Good News Church of Africa–Yuumbu, P.O. Box 201-90201 Mutomo (“the Client”), entered into an agreement with Jakimo Infrastructure East Africa Limited, P.O. Box 3444-00100 Nairobi (“the Contractor”), for the design and construction of a vital community water project in Yuumbu village, Kiangu sub-location, Ikutha sub-county, Kitui County. The scope of the project included the installation of a 3.2 km water pipeline, the construction of a water kiosk, household water connections for 14 homes, and the provision of all related fittings and accessories required to ensure full operational functionality.

Jakimo Infrastructure East Africa Limited undertook the assignment under the agreed terms and conditions, committing to deliver a reliable and sustainable water supply solution to the community. The contract commenced on 6th September 2024 with an implementation period of 14 weeks. The project was fully completed, tested, and officially handed over to the Client on 13th December 2024, marking a significant development milestone in improving access to clean and safe water for the residents of Yuumbu village.

St Andrews Catholic Parish, Kitui County.

Jakimo Infrastructure East Africa Ltd was commissioned to design and construct key facilities for St. Andrew’s Catholic Parish in Kitui, with the objective of enhancing the parish’s capacity to serve its growing congregation and the surrounding community. The project involved the construction of a modern parish church structure, ancillary buildings, and supporting infrastructure.

The church was built to reflect a balance between traditional Catholic architectural values and contemporary design elements that promote accessibility, comfort, and long-term sustainability.

Amref Kenya , Narok County.

The proposed fabrication, supply, and installation of one 50m³ galvanized ground steel tank at Olomanira and one 50m³ galvanized elevated steel tank at a height of 6 meters at Parmolile, Narok West, Narok County, commenced in December 2023. 

The project was successfully completed and handed over to the client, Amref Kenya, in March 2024. This water infrastructure initiative is designed to significantly improve access to clean and reliable water, benefitting the surrounding communities and enhancing their quality of life.

World Vision kenyaMakueni County.

World Vision Kenya has implemented several critical infrastructure projects aimed at improving access to clean water and healthcare in Kitui, Mwingi, Mwala, and Makueni Counties. These initiatives include the construction of water supply pipelines, water trucking tank bases, tap-stand plumbing works, hospital facilities, and rising main extensions.

Commencing between August 2023 and September 2025, these projects are designed to strengthen water and healthcare infrastructure, ensuring communities have reliable access to essential services. Each project was executed with a focus on quality, sustainability, and long-term community benefits.

Kimisitu Concrete Water tower,Machakos County

The construction of a 9-meter-high reinforced concrete water tower for Kimistu Investment Company PLC, located within Tulivu Garden in the Lukenya Area of Machakos County, began in January 2025 and reached successful completion in March 2025.

This robust elevated water structure was designed to improve the estate’s water management capacity by providing increased storage volume, stabilizing water pressure, and ensuring a steady and dependable supply for all residents.

Beyond meeting immediate consumption needs, the water tower also strengthens long-term infrastructure resilience for the development. It supports future expansion, enhances service reliability, and contributes to the overall livability and sustainability of Tulivu Garden.

The project stands as a key milestone in the estate’s growth and a testament to Kimistu Investment Company’s commitment to quality and community well-being.

 

Habitat For Humanity Kenya,Laikipia County.

The proposed construction of latrine blocks under Habitat for Humanity Kenya, comprising one 5-door latrine with a changing room for girls and one 4-door latrine with a urinal for boys, commenced in July 2024 and was completed in September 2024. The project has greatly benefited school pupils and the surrounding community by improving sanitation facilities.

Individual Self Funded Projects, Kenya

(i)The Vipingo Residential Maisonette Development is a modern two-floor housing project located in coastal Vipingo, Kenya, designed to meet the rising demand for quality rental accommodation. Construction began in February 2025 and was completed in October 2025.

(ii) The proposed residential development (maisonette) for Prof. Patrick, a personal project in the Utawala area of Nairobi, commenced in March 2024 and was completed in December 2024. The two-floor maisonette is designed for rental purposes, providing modern and comfortable housing.

USAID, Kakamega County.

The Lumino Water Supply Project in Kakamega County, funded by USAID under the Western Kenya Water Project, commenced in February 2025 and was successfully completed in May 2025.

The project provides reliable access to clean water, significantly benefiting the local communities and improving overall quality of life.
